Onboarding
A standard macbook pro is recommended. 16 GB of VRAM or unified memory is the minimum recommended for the ability to run LLMs locally, safely, and privately. More VRAM can handle bigger models!
We recommend a visual Interactive Development Environment like Cursor, and setting this up is something that each person going through the training must do on your company hardware prior to kickoff

The AI FDE Certification is designed around hands-on development of real agentic AI systems, covering areas like RAG, agents, evaluations, and production infrastructure.
Hardware, Team and Time Requirements
A minimum of three engineers is required to build a custom enterprise cohort and curriculum around your goals for production AI with AI Makerspace. Ideal for mid-market to enterprise firms.
For larger teams, we break out into teams of 2-5, and can take on 4-6 groups per cohort. Each team will work with us to build and demo a full production AI case around a business problem.

The timeline to build and get a full, detailed executive report is a 10-week-long and challenging program, and we are on-site with you for one or two weeks.
All training follows our process and proven curriculum using the foundational building blocks of AI engineering.
Expect full-day intensives with us for either one or two weeks, along with a few hours per learning module and step for the remainder of 10 weeks.
This project, which is typically your first AI deployment with us, takes from 4-20 hours.
Total = 48-120 hours to build your custom AI learning foundation
Custom Training Payment Terms
A custom one-week cohort program and sprint at your location and on-site is $70,000.
All proposed AI FDE Challenge Sprints are intended for groups of your nominated software engineers, technical leaders, data scientists, and technical staff.
During your proposal process before an enterprise AI program, we'll identify use cases, select dates, create your curriculum, and arrange our travel.
This experience is ideal for mid-market to enterprise teams from 3 to 30 members and can come with a longer-term roadmap for multiple sprints to reach the goals for building up your AI pipeline.
Individual seats for the AI FDE certification are $5,250. Send your technical team members to our program to become certified and stronger AI FDEs.
In this certification, we work closely with students at an individual level over 10 weeks, and it is a great option for many firms working remotely or upskilling their staff and production AI capability alike. All students will build a production AI application that solves a real problem at your company and can be applied in their role.
A payment for each participant and trainee is due upfront and in full to join the cohort and begin the certification and work.
The AI FDE Certification is run through Maven to keep all of your payments, content, training dates, and 1:1s in one place.
Some teams may prefer to, and are welcome to, send people individually or as a small group of up to three at once to this course.
We typically book new enterprise program engagements roughly two to three months, or 60 to 90 days, in advance.
We'll provide a roadmap based on your goals, team size, and engineering talent pipeline, where leadership ideally goes first.
Security Concerns
Production readiness is our guarantee. We will have pilots ready for production at the end of any enterprise program, and a two-week option includes a demo day.
Tools and security for your organization are a nuanced thing, and our instructors and curriculum can work with all of today's models.
We are well-versed in working with enterprise clients, including in sensitive and highly-regulated industries. Although we would prefer to showcase you as a client, we will always respect your privacy publicly and flow down terms within your NDAs to our instructional staff internally.
