Gina Young
As the Creative Director, I’m responsible for sharing standout updates and insights on the journey across the AI Makerspace brand, team, our students and clients. I manage this site, our LinkedIn and emails.
Q: Where are you from? What is your oriin story?
I’m from Ashtabula Harbor, a small lakefront town in NE Ohio. I'm always learning and volunteering to lead projects, and I knew a lot about digital arts, creating and distributing media early on.
A chance to work hands-on with media brought me to Wright State University in Dayton, where I studied Computer Science and Communications. I met Dr. Greg in my final year there!
I'm now in Cincinnati with my family; my husband works at GE Aerospace, and we have two young kids that I call my bosses.
Q: Can you share a hidden talent or hobby, or something you do for fun?
I enjoy the practical, repetitive, and simple things in work and life. Like spending my free time being active, creating or relaxing outdoors. I play a variety of music on the piano. And nearly every day, I write about my life experiences, work and ideas.

Q: Can you share about any other work accomplishments?
After hitting the ground running and growing in marketing on the startup and software scene, I had the calling and chance to be a co-owner, then co-founder of two different marketing agencies in Cincinnati. I led and stayed with both from their start to over 1M ARR.
In my career, I've built over 100 websites for entrepreneurs, technology companies, universities, and even hospitals, along with illustrative logos, guidelines, templates, and content plans. My gift is helping others find their creative potential or filling in the gaps, which improves brands and experiences.
