Matt Sharp is a seasoned leader and professor in AI, MLOps and Engineering. He has led many successful data initiatives for both startups and large tech companies alike.
He specializes in deploying, managing, and scaling machine learning and generative AI models in production, regardless of what that production setting looks like.
Q: Where are you from?
I'm from Lehi, Utah, have a degree in Chemical Engineering from BYU.
Q: Can you share a hidden talent or hobby, or something you do for fun?
Local AI is my hobby. I've been doing personal projects for a long time, from building a StarCraft bot to creating a translation app so I could communicate with my in-laws better.
