Meet the Team
Ovo Okpubuluku
I bring ~5 years of Consulting & Professional Services experience in Enterprise Banking, Telco, and Energy as a Data Scientist, Data Engineer, and AI Engineer in the Cloud.
I have designed, implemented, migrated, and deployed data pipelines, as well as AI-powered full-stack applications, during this period.
Currently, I also work with Tactable and am part of an Enterprise Banking product development cycle that is iteratively building new features on a Conversational Agentic RAG application, as well as leading production support for an adtech client.
Q: Where are you from? What's your origin story?
I'm located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and am a husband and father of 2 boys, aged 9 and 4. I left Nigeria for Calgary in 2013, with a Bachelor's in Chemistry and then 7 years in bank branch operations, customer service leadership, and Transaction Processing roles. I spent 5 years in Alberta's Oil & Gas industry after graduating from SAIT in 2015 in Petroleum Engineering Technology. Then I pivoted my career into tech between 2020 and 2021.
